Abelisaur Fossils Teeth

The name Abelisaurus or Abelisaur means “Abel’s Lizard,” the Abelisaur dinosaur is a predatory theropod dinosaur that had a carnivorous diet in its lifetime,

The Abelisaurus was the first of the "Abelisauridae" group of carnivorous theropod dinosaurs named and depicted by Argentine paleontologists in 1985.

This group of theropod dinosaurs was known to be the most common species in southern countries, such as South America and Africa.

Its body is estimated to be between 7 to 10 meters (23 to 33 ft.) in length and weighs approximately 3 tons. It was a typical theropod that walked on two legs and had a long tail that provided its body with stability and balance.
