Sorry, there are no products in this collection
The Ankylosaurus was one of the largest plated dinosaurs discovered as it had large oval plate-like textures all over its skin except for its stomach area.
They were known as armored dinosaurs whose fossils marked the end of the Cretaceous period during that time. It was named by a paleontologist, Barnum Brown, in 1908.
Its body is upto 10 meters long (33 feet) and carries an estimated weight of about 4 tons. It had a short body and long legs, which helped to support its heavy upper body. Its body is covered in plates, scutes, and spikes.
Due to its body’s rough texture and armor that stretches across its whole body and eyes, it is often used for protection purposes and to protect itself against predators and dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus and many more.
