Centrosaurus Dinosaur Collection
Centrosaurus was an herbivorous dinosaur resembling the more well-known Triceratops in having a large central horn and a frill behind the head. Its name means "pointed lizard" and refers to the series of small hornlets placed along the margin of its frill. Centrosaurus traveled in large herds and were most common in what is now Alberta, Canada, having lived in the late Cretaceous about 76 and 70 million years ago.
