Equicalastrobus Petrified Pine Cones are from the Western Sahara of Morocco. Great detail and preservation with the wood being replaced by agate. This pine cone is from the Eocene age of 40-45 million years ago. As far as I can find the species has yet to be identified. The Pine Cone belongs to the Conifer family.
