Albertosaurus was a large meat-eating (theropod) dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous era, whose fossils were found in North America and Eastern Asia.
The fossils of the Albertosaurus dinosaur show that, in many aspects, it was similar to the Tyrannosaurus, which is known to have been the deadliest and strongest carnivore dinosaur of its time.
It is a flesh-eating dinosaur and an apex predator. It weighs somewhere between 2-3 tons.

Henry Fairfield Osborn gave the name Albertosaurus to this species of dinosaur in the year 1905
Its skull was the most important part of its fossil as it is 3 feet long, and they have sharp teeth, which indicated that they was carnivores in nature. It had a long neck and tail along with a streamlined and muscular body.
They have various numbers of teeth in their mouth; almost upto 70 teeth were present in their jaw at one time, which was used for eating purposes like - biting and tearing flesh.
